Manville, NJ- Betty Ann (Kasar) Bridy, 68, entered eternal life on Sunday, July 28, 2013 at Somerset Medical Center in Somerville surrounded by her loving family. Born in Plainfield she resided in Manville for the past thirty-five years.
Betty Ann owned and operated Sherris Bar in Manville for seven years before retiring. She loved animals, enjoyed going on cruises, playing slot machines, trips to Las Vegas, and was a huge fan of Elvis Presley.
Betty Ann was predeceased by her daughter, Sherl Ann Zelmore Bridy and father, Charles Kasar.
Betty Ann leaves behind her beloved husband of fifty years, Henry Bridy; loving son and daughter-in-law, Raymond and Lynn Bridy of Monroe Township; loving mother, Elsie (Kaluskel) Kasar; dear brother, Bertram Kasar and dear sister, Elsie Getz. She will be deeply missed by her cherished grandchildren, Michael Zelmore and Stacey Zelmore.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend visitation at Fucillo & Warren Funeral Home, 205 South Main Street, Manville, NJ 08835 on Thursday, August 1 from 6-9 p.m. with the funeral service beginning at 8:30 p.m. At the family’s request disposition will be private.
