Bridgewater, NJ- Adele Florence Sekel, 94, entered into eternal life on Tuesday, January 10, 2017 at Arbor Glen, Bridgewater, NJ.  Born in Bayonne, NJ, daughter of the late Stephen and Agnes (Peploski) Sekel, she resided in Bayonne, moved to Finderne, NJ and Somerville, NJ, before settling to Bridgewater in 2002.

Adele retired after thirty-six years of working in the Purchasing department for American Cyanamid.  Playing the piano was a favorite pastime of Adele's.  She traveled extensively even though she never learned to drive.  Adele was known for being cheerful and was very close to her family.  She adored her pets, especially her beloved cat Nick.  She was a former parishioner of Christ the Redeemer Parish (Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church) in Manville, NJ.

Adele is predeceased by her beloved mother Agnes Sekel who passed away in 1990 and her brother, Kenneth Sekel in 1996.

Adele is survived by her loving cousins, Eleanor Kells of Bound Brook, NJ and Bill Pepper of Oldtown, Idaho.
