Branchburg, NJ- Adeline Sparano, 93, entered into eternal life on Wednesday, September 21, 2022 at Foothill Acres Rehabilitation & Nursing Center in Hillsborough, NJ with loving family by her side. Born and raised in Hillsborough, daughter of the late Dominic and Loretta (nee Concetta) Grecco, she became a resident of Manville, NJ in the 1940's, then lived in Texas for a short time, before settling back to New Jersey to reside with her daughter in Branchburg.
Adeline was a homemaker and loved to take care of her family, which was of the utmost importance to her. She was a bigtime New York Yankees fan, who also enjoyed watching a good Western, she enjoyed spending time with her pets that she cherished, and greatly enjoyed kicking up her heel's while line dancing with her friends. She was a former parishioner of Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church in Manville and Our Lady of Lourdes Parish in Whitehouse Station, NJ.
Besides her parents, Adeline was predeceased by her beloved husband, Edward Sparano who passed away on January 10, 1986; and her siblings, Angelina Barna, Joseph Grecco, Dominic Grecco, Mary Waldo, Rocco Grecco, and Jennie Dobak.
Adeline is survived by her loving daughter, Carol and her husband Frank St. Jacques of Branchburg; and many dear nieces and nephews.
Relative and friends are invited to attend a viewing at Fucillo & Warren Funeral Home, 205 South Main Street, Manville, NJ 08835 on Saturday, September 24 from 11:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. Funeral services will begin at the funeral home at 12:00 p.m. with a prayer service officiated by Fr. Alex of Mary, Mother of God Roman Catholic Church of Hillsborough. Committal words and interment will follow at Sacred Heart Cemetery in Hillsborough.
