Manville, NJ- Alice B. (nee Blando) Sancho, 68, entered into eternal rest on Sunday, June 27, 2021 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick, NJ.  Born and raised in San Jose, Costa Rica, daughter of Alicia Duran Jimenez and the late Rafael Angel Blando Severino, as a pastor she had resided in many places most notably Bound Brook, NJ, Bloomfield, NJ, Suffern, NY, College Pointe Queens, NY, and Manville.

Alice had a passion to serve God and help others.  She was a minister and retired after many years of dedicated employment with the Salvation Army in Bound Brook.  She also enjoyed sewing, arts and crafts, and most importantly spending time with family.

Besides her father, Alice was predeceased by her son, Italo J. Dixon.

Besides her mother, Alice will be deeply missed by two loving daughters, Alice Soto and her husband Randall of Heredia, Costa Rica and Julissa Torres and her husband Stephen of Manville; three dear siblings, Rafael Blando, Carmen Blando, and Geannina Blando; four cherished grandchildren, Maria Fernanda Obando, Ezekiel Hernandez, Emanuel Hernandez, and Julianna Torres; and many nieces and nephews.

A celebration of Alice's life will be held on Wednesday, July 7, 2021 at Stone Crest Community Church,11 Technology Dr, Warren.
