Obituary

Manville, NJ- Allan Paul Walchinsky, 75, entered into eternal life on January 8, 2022, at Rehab at River's Edge in Raritan, NJ.  Born in Manville, NJ to his late parents, Joseph Walchinsky and Catherine (nee Zamorski) Walchinsky Meszaros Polansek, Allan lived in Hillsborough for thirty-two years before moving to Manville in 2015.

Allan was a member of Christ the Redeemer Parish (Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church) and also a member of the Knights of Columbus.  He was a graduate of Manville High School, class of 1964 and also received his Associates Degree from Rutgers University.

He retired as an underwriter for Metropolitan Life Insurance Company in Bridgewater where he was employed for thirty-eight years.

Beside his parents, Allan was predeceased by a brother, Joseph E. Walchinsky in 1965.  He is survived by his daughter, Deborah Lynn Colombaroni and her husband Richard "Ricky" Colombaroni of Bound Brook; granddaughters, Thomasina and Antonina "Toni" Colombaroni.  Allen is also survived by his two sisters, Maryann Philhower and Evelyn Milora and many nieces and nephews along with many cousins and friends.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation at Fucillo and Warren Funeral Home, 205 South Main Street, Manville, NJ on Thursday, January 13, 2022, from 8-8:30 a.m.  Funeral services will begin at 8:30 a.m. at the funeral home followed by a 9:00 a.m. funeral liturgy at Sacred Heart Church in Manville.  Interment will follow at Sacred Heart Cemetery in Hillsborough, NJ.
