Manville, NJ - Andrew L. Persinko, Jr., 83, entered into eternal life on Sunday, August 26, 2012 at St. Luke's Hospital Quakertown, Quakertown, PA. Andrew is the son of the late Andrew L. and Mildred (Nebozinsky) Persinko, Sr. Born in Manville and raised in Middlesex, Andrew was a graduate of Bound Brook High School. He was a great athlete and held a track record at BBHS for 30 years. He settled to Pennsylvania in 2012 to be closer to family.
Andrew faithfully served his country with the United States National Guard. He retired in 1996 from Devro (Nitta) in Somerville where he was an certified Industrial Electrician. Andrew was a communicant of The Parish Community of St. Joseph in Hillsborough. Some of Andrew's favorite pastimes included hunting, fishing, and flying. He was a member of the Manville Rod & Gun Club and he held a private pilot's license.
Andrew leaves behind his loving children: Susan Pulsinelli and her husband Michael of Pennsylvania, Eileen Becker and her husband David of Georgia, and Roy A. Persinko of Los Angeles, CA; dear sisters, Betty Persinko-Jelich and her husband Steve of Long Beach Island, NJ and Cathy Persinko-Deschu and her husband Jack of Center Valley, PA. He will be deeply missed by seven adored grandchildren: Tracy, Jonathan and Auriel Pulsinelli, Lauren and Drake Becker, and Emily and Hannah Persinko; two cherished great grandchildren, Cole and Grayson; by his ex-wife Dorothy Persinko-Blackford of Lebanon, NJ. and dear friend Clara Dimitriew of Manville, NJ.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend visitation at Fucillo & Warren Funeral Home, 205 South Main Street, Manville, NJ 08835 on Thursday August 30 from 4-7 p.m and on Friday August 31 from 10:00 – 10:30am.
Relatives and friends may join with Andrew's family for a prayer service at the funeral home on Friday, August 31 at 10:30am followed by committal words and interment at Sacred Heart Cemetery, 1066 Millstone River Road, Hillsborough, NJ, 08844.
