Franklin Park, NJ – Andrzej "Andre" Maziarzewski, 76, entered into eternal life on Monday, May 22, 2017 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick, NJ.  Born in Mielec, Poland, son of the late Andrzej and Julia (Spring) Maziarzewski, he lived in Krakow, Poland most of his adult life, before immigrating to the United States in 1978 and settling to New Jersey.

Andrzej received his Master's in Engineering from Krakow Politechnika in Poland.  He was employed as a manager of systems and programming at Foster Wheeler in Phillipsburg, NJ.  An avid kayaker and biker; he also enjoyed hiking and camping in his free time, especially with his wife.  Andrzej was a parishioner of Christ the Redeemer Parish (Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church) in Manville, NJ.

Besides his parents, Andrzej was predeceased by two older sisters, Ashka Pluta and Stanislawa Dobrzanska.

Andrzej is survived by his beloved wife of thirty-seven years, Lucy Maria (Zamczynski) Maziarzewski; and dear brother, Zbyszek Maziarzewski of Poland.  He will also be missed by his nieces and nephew, all of Poland.

A funeral liturgy will be held on Friday, May 26 at 9:00 a.m. at Christ the Redeemer Parish (Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church), 98 South 2 ^nd Avenue, Manville, NJ, 08835 officiated by Fr. Wojciech Kusek.  Committal words and inurnment will follow at Resurrection Burial Park, 899 East Lincoln Avenue, Piscataway, NJ 08854.
