Obituary

Anna (Lysy) Harasymiak, 91, entered into eternal life on Thursday, October 27, 2011 at Somerset Medical Center in Somerville surrounded by her loving family. Born in Manville, daughter of the late Max and Tillie (Vozne) Lysy, she was a lifelong resident of the borough.

Anna was employed at Deihl Manufacturing Corporation in Finderne and retired from the Johns Manville Corporation. She was a parishioner of St. Mary's Byzantine Catholic Church in Hillsborough and a former member of their Rosary Society. Anna had a passion for her flower gardening and enjoyed day trips to Atlantic City. She was a loving wife & mother to whom family time was of the utmost importance.

Besides her parents, Anna was predeceased by her beloved husband Michael Harasymiak in 2009 and by her dear siblings, Paul Lysy, William "Sally" Lysy, Steve Lysy, Olga Lazorchak and Mary Lysy.

Anna leaves behind her loving children, son Michael Harasymiak and daughter Karen Harasymiak both of Manville and four dear siblings, sister Violet Raczkowski of Manville and brothers John "Babe" Lysy of Manville, Nick Lysy of Florida and Harry Lysy of Pennsylvania.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend visitation at Fucillo & Warren Funeral Home, 205 South Main Street, Manville, NJ 08835 on Sunday, October 30 from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. and on Monday, October 31 from 9:00 a.m. until 9:45 a.m. Fr. Ed Cimbala will celebrate the Parastas on Sunday evening at 7:30 p.m.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, October 31 beginning 9:45 a.m. at the funeral home followed by a 10:30 a.m. funeral liturgy at St. Mary's Byzantine Catholic Church in Hillsborough. Anna will be laid to rest beside her beloved husband at Sacred Heart Cemetery in Hillsborough.
