Manville, NJ – Anna (Carovillano) Manella, 96, entered into eternal life on Friday, July 1, 2011 at home in Manville with her loving family by her side. Born at home in Raritan, daughter of the late Nunzio and Antonio (Di Bartolomeo) Carovillano, she was a lifelong resident of Manville.

Anna retired after many years of dedicated employment at Somerset Medical Center in Somerville as a housekeeper. She was a communicant of Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church in Manville. Anna enjoyed baking and cooking, especially for her family.

Besides her parents, Anna was predeceased by her beloved husband Frank Manella in 1973, by many brothers and sisters and her grandson David Bryan.

Anna leaves behind her loving son Donald and his wife Charlotte of Hillsborough and loving daughter Shirley and her husband David Bryan of Manville. She will be deeply missed by five dear grandchildren, Gary Manella and his wife Victoria, Robert Manella and James Manella and his wife Stephanie, Linda Bryan and her significant other Mike and Jean Kling and her husband Russ; dear granddaughter-in-law Cindy Bryan; five cherished great grandchildren, Megan and Nicholas Manella, Cordaro Tate, Eva Maria Manella and Christopher Bryan; an adored great-great granddaughter Stacy Bryan, and many nieces & nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend visitation at Fucillo & Warren Funeral Home, 205 South Main Street, Manville, NJ 08835 on Wednesday, July 6 from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. and on Thursday, July 7 from 8-8:30 a.m.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, July 7 beginning 8:30 a.m. at the funeral home followed by a 9:00 a.m. funeral liturgy at Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church in Manville. Anna will be laid to rest at Sacred Heart Cemetery in Hillsborough.
