Manville, NJ- Anne Rose Palfy (nee Stansley), 86, peacefully entered into eternal life on Sunday, July 25, 2021, while at home.  Daughter of the late Anthony and Rose (nee Bartolomeo) Stansley, she was born, raised and lived her whole life in Manville, NJ.

Besides her parents, Anne was predeceased by her loving husband, Albert R. Palfy in 1999, and her sister Catherine Bartushak.

Anne lived a very full life as a loving wife, devoted mother, and proud Nonna. She believed strongly in volunteering and contributing to the betterment of her community.  She was recognized as a lifelong member of the Manville Rescue Squad Auxiliary.  When her children were younger, she was involved in PTA activities and was a Cub Scout den mother.  Along with her husband, Al, she was very active with local politics, serving in many capacities with the Manville Democratic Club, the Somerset County Democratic Committee, and the Somerset County Federation of Democratic Women, who honored her with an Eleanor Roosevelt Extraordinary Volunteer Service Award. Anne helped plan and organize many activities related in Manville's Golden Jubilee festivities in 1979 while Al was Mayor. She was a member of the Christ the King Altar Rosary Society for many years and also a member of the Manville Senior Citizens Club.  Anne loved reading and had belonged to the Hungry Readers Book Club and maintained a voluminous collection of cookbooks.

Anne will be deeply missed by four devoted children, Anthony and wife Dora Palfy, Christopher and his wife Suzanne Palfy, Melissa and her husband Keith Bellamy, and Joel and his wife Wendy Palfy; and six cherished grandchildren, Abigail, Zachary, Nicholas, Garrett, Christopher and Henry.  She will be deeply missed by her loving extended family and many treasured  friends, who will remember her not only for her smile and quick wit, but also as a source of good advice.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a memorial visitation at Fucillo & Warren Funeral Home, 205 South Main Street, Manville, NJ 08835 on Friday, July 30, 2021 from 9a.m.-12 p.m. with a prayer service beginning at 11 a.m. officiated by Monsignor Ralph W.
