Manville, NJ- Anne Marie Sweet, 91, died on Thursday, December 19, 2024 at home with family by her side. Born and raised in Hazleton, PA, daughter of the late John and Anna (nee Bobby) Mitchell, she moved to Bound Brook, NJ and spent the last 61 years in Manville.

Anne loved to spend time with family, cook, read, and enjoyed antique shows. She was a member of Christ the Redeemer Parish in Manville.

Beside her parents, Anne was predeceased by her beloved husband of 55 years, George Robert Sweet, who died on December 15, 2009; and sisters, Irene and Eleanor.

Anne will be deeply missed and is survived by her loving children, David Sweet of Manville and Sharon and her husband Gary Wallace of Langhorne, PA; dear brother, Fred Mitchell; dear sisters, Pat Woodrow and Nancy Poremba; cherished grandchildren, Michael Kammerer and Christopher Wallace; and several nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a viewing on Monday, December 23, at Fucillo & Warren Funeral Home, 205 South Main Street, Manville, NJ 08835 from 8-8:30 a.m. Funeral service will begin at the funeral home at 8:30 a.m. followed by a 9:00 a.m. funeral mass at Christ the Redeemer Parish in Manville. Committal words and interment will follow at sacred Heart Cemetery in Hillsborough. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Anne's name to the Visiting Nurse Association, 175 South Street, Morristown, NJ 07960.
