Middlesex, NJ – Bernard "Bernie" J. Bagienski, 89, entered into eternal life on August 23, 2021 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Bruswick.  Son of the late Joseph and Sophia (nee Kochanowska) Bagienski, he was born and raised in Shenandoah, PA.

Bernie proudly served our country in the United States Army from 1953 to 1955.  He worked for Johns Manville for 25 plus years in the quality control department.  After retirement from JM, he worked in maintenance for the Hillsborough School District.  He enjoyed polka music, and was an avid fisherman, and skilled handyman.

Besides his parents, Bernie was predeceased by his loving wife Dorothy "Dottie" in 2015; three brothers, Joseph, Edward, and Richard; and two sisters, Stella Krash and Loretta Brownlee.

Bernie and Dottie were residents of Manville for over 40 years.  Bernie is survived by his three devoted daughters, Dorothea "Dorie" Bagienski DeFranco and husband Jack DeFranco of San Diego, CA, Sophia Bagienski Mangual and Robert Mangual of Hillsborough, and Veronica Bagienski of Middlesex; and adored granddaughter Quinn DeFranco Morgan and fiancé Ken Tatarka of San Francisco, CA. Bernie will be dearly missed by many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral services for Bernie will be private; however his family would like to thank everyone for their prayers and support.
