Obituary

Manville, NJ- Carl F. Zujkowski, 88, of Manville, NJ entered into eternal rest on Monday, October 4, 2021 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital Somerset, Somerville, NJ, with his loving family by his side.  Born in Manville, NJ, at home to his parents the late Leon and Stella (nee Janusz) Zujkowski, he was a lifelong Manville resident.

Carl was honorably discharged from the United States Army as a PFC from 1955 to 1957.  For many years, Carl was a Financial Analysist for Singer Corporation in Elizabeth, NJ and Diehl's in Finderne, NJ. He was proud to have been a member of the American Legion Post 304 in Manville having served a fifteen year position as the financial officer for the Legion. Some of his favorite pastimes included being an avid fisherman, NASCAR fan, enjoying western films, and attending horse racing events, but the biggest pastime of all was spending time with his family. Carl attended Bound Brook High School.  Carl was a communicant of Christ the Redeemer Parish (Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church).

Besides his parents, Carl was predeceased by his beloved wife Margaret Marie (Kurnik) Zujkowski on August 7, 1979; his son, John Zujkowski in 2016, grandson, Jason Zujkowski in 2018 and siblings, brother, Stanley Zujkowski, and sister, Mary Theresa Zujkowski.

Carl is survived by his loving children, daughters Mary Ann Mahilo of Manville and Julia M. Ramirez of Manville; five cherished grandchildren, Danielle Mahilo, Matthew Mahilo, Karli Ramirez, Sean Zujkowski and Dylan Ramirez all of Manville.  Carl will be truly missed by all who knew him.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a viewing at Fucillo & Warren Funeral Home, 205 South Main Street, Manville, NJ 08835 on Thursday, October 7, 2021 from 5-8 p.m. and on Friday, October 8, 2021 from 8:00-8:30 a.m.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, October 8, 2021 beginning at 8:30 a.m. at the funeral home followed by a 9 a.m. funeral liturgy at Christ the Redeemer Parish (Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church).  Committal words and interment will follow at Sacred Heart Cemetery in Hillsborough, NJ.  In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made in Carl's name to the American Legion Post 304, 429 South Main Street, Manville, NJ 08835
