Obituary

Carmen Viglionese, 98, entered into eternal life on Wednesday, April 29, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at Robert Wood Johnson-Somerset in Somerville. Born in Milensville, PA, son of the late Anthony and Ida (Speranza) Viglionese, he had resided in Manville since 1947.

Carmen retired from American Cyanamid. He was a communicant of Christ the Redeemer Parish, Christ the King Roman Catholic Church in Manville and a past member of the Manville Senior Citizens Club.



Besides his parents, Carmen was predeceased by his beloved wife, Florence (Steco) Viglionese on April 15, 2008; six siblings: Dominic, Charles, Connie Viglionese, Marie Carrato, Nellie Gunzerath and Catherine Pecora.



Carmen is survived by his loving family,daughter, Mary Ann Bossert and her husband Albert of Bridgewater; grandson, Gary Bossert and his wife Kara and two loving great grandchildren, Elise and Gary, Jr. He will be missed by two dear sisters, Mary Pane and Ida Stefanowicz of Hazleton, PA and many nieces and nephews.




Relatives and friends are invited to attend visitation at Fucillo & Warren Funeral Home, 205 South Main Street, Manville, N.J. 08835 on Sunday, May 3 from 3-7 p.m. and on Monday, May 4 from 8:00-8:30 a.m.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, May 4, beginning 8:30 a.m. from the funeral home followed by a 9:00 a.m. funeral liturgy at Christ the King Roman Catholic Church in Manville. Committal words will take place at St. Bernard Mausoleum in Bridgewater. Memorial contributions may be made in Carmen's memory to the Manville First Aid and Rescue Squad, 2 South 3rd Avenue, Manville, NJ 08835, www.manvillerescuesquad.org.
