Pemberton, NJ—Carol A. (Schindelar) Hladun, 81, entered into eternal life on Monday, September 10, 2019 at Samaritan Health Care & Hospice at Virtua Hospital in Mt. Holly, NJ. Born in Bridgewater to the late John J. and Anna L. (Gilbride) Schindelar, she was raised in Bound Brook then resided in Manville before moving to Pemberton.

Carol was a homemaker and as her family liked to call her the "Domestic Goddess". She loved the kids in her neighborhood and was always doing things to keep all of them happy. Carol was a communicant of St. Mary's Byzantine Catholic Church in Hillsborough.

Besides her parents, Carol was predeceased by her beloved husband, George Hladun, in 2004 and by two siblings, Carl and Jack Schindelar.

Carol is survived by two loving children; son, George Hladun and daughter, Sandra Hladun; cherished grandchildren, Louis F. Perna III (Danielle), Xenia K. Hladun and Gianna L. Hladun; one great grandchild, Shelby Carol Perna; dear uncle, Dr. Henry Oscar Schindelar; brother-in-law, Harry Hladun (Carol); sister-in-law, Mary Stulack, and best friend Joanne Kosensky. Carol will also be missed by her "grand fur puppies".

Relatives and friends are invited to attend visitation at Holy Ghost Carpatho-Russian Orthodox Church, 249 South 7 ^th Avenue, Manville, NJ 08835 on Saturday, September 14 from 9-11 a.m. The funeral liturgy will begin 11:00 a.m. at church. Committal words and interment will follow at Sacred Heart Cemetery in Hillsborough.
