Manville, NJ- Carolyn M. (Jakelsky) Schuler, 63, passed away on Friday, December 30, 2016 at her home with loving family by her side. Carolyn was born in Somerville, NJ to the late Valentine and Evelyn (Plick) Jakelsky.

Carolyn had a tough life but fought through everything that was placed in front of her. She spent years dedicating her time to others and treasured her three grandchildren and dearest friends.

Beside her parents, Carolyn was predeceased by her beloved sister Mickey.

Carolyn is survived by her devoted husband of 37 years, George J. Schuler and loving children Brian D. Schuler and Serena V. Bozek and her husband Robert Bozek. She will be deeply missed by all her grandchildren; Justin, Matthew and Daniel Bozek and by her sister Mimi Jakelsky and brother-in-law John Crognale and brother Tom and sister-in-law Lori Jakelsky.  Carolyn's memory will be cherished by her dearest friends.

A "Joyous" celebration of Carolyn's life will be held on Saturday, January 7, 2017 at 3:00 p.m. at the Manville North End Vol. Fire Company, 169 N. 8th Avenue, Manville, NJ 08835 . Please contact the funeral home or family with any further questions.
