Manville, NJ- Catherine J. (Bobanick) Zamorsky, 86, entered eternal life on Wednesday, November 24, 2010 at Somerset Medical Center in Somerville surrounded by her loving family. Born on March 23, 1924 in Highland Park, NJ, daughter of the late John and Julia Bobanick, Catherine was a resident of Manville for 69 years.
Catherine was a homemaker, always devoted to caring for her family. In her spare time, Catherine loved to read and crochet, and was an avid WWE wrestling fan. Catherine was a communicant of Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church in Manville. She will be deeply missed by her family and those who loved her.
In addition to her parents, Catherine is predeceased by her beloved husband Edward L. Zamorsky who passed away on April 22, 1989 and with whom she took his hand in marriage on January 14, 1941; her beloved son Edward J. Zamorsky Jr. who passed away on February 12, 1982; her brother William Doyle (May 1966); and her sister Irene Magyar (December 1987).
Catherine is survived by three beloved sons: Robert S. Zamorski and wife Sharon of Somerset, Michael H. and Patrick J. Zamorski both of Manville; two beloved daughters, Susan K. and her husband Eugene Basista of Manville and Patricia A. Zamorski of Manville; her grandchildren Christopher Basista, Jeffery Zamorski, Robert and his wife Lisa Zamorski; her nephew James Magyar and his children; and also by her loving caregiver Laura Diaz.
Arrangements are under the direction of Fucillo & Warren Funeral Home, 205 South Main Street, Manville, NJ 08835. Visitation will be on Sunday, November 28th from 2-4 p.m. & 7-9 p.m. and on Monday, November 29th from 8:00 a.m. until 8:30 a.m. at the funeral home.
A mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, November 29th at 9 a.m. at Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church in Manville. Burial will follow at Sacred Heart Cemetery in Hillsborough.
