Obituary

Manville, NJ- Cecilia Maria (nee Rogolofoi) Simon, 58, entered into eternal life on Saturday, October 5, 2024 at home with loving family by her side. Born in Saipan, daughter of the late Esteban I. and Monica I. (nee Wabol) Rogolifoi, she lived in the villages of As Terlaje Hill, Garapan, China Town, DanDan, and Chalaln Kanoa, Carolinian, and Guam before immigrating to the United States of America. Upon arrival to the USA she lived in Utah and Florida before settling in Manville in 2022.

Cecilia was a homemaker who took great pride in caring for and raising her family. She enjoyed cooking and preparing meals for family and friends. She wasn't shy about helping others and no one was a stranger to her. Cecilia had a positive attitude and was a very kind hearted woman with a wonderful sprit. She helped anyone in need. Just after spending a short period of time with Cecelia you would feel like you knew her your whole life. She treated everyone with love and was well known around her communities as "auntie and sister."

Besides her parents, Cecilia was predeceased by her sister, Magdalena Rogolofoi.

Cecilia is survived by and will be deeply missed by her beloved husband of 36 years, Remickio R. Simon, with whom she joined hands in marriage on November 11, 1988; four loving children, Simion Wabol, Jolynna Hokaj, Esteban Simon, and Micklyn Simon; ten dear siblings, Thedio Rogolifoi,  Julius Rogolifoi, Claudio Rogolifor, Gevoni Rogolifoi, April Tebit, Jaime Rogolifoi, Prescilia Sebangiol, Xavier McEntee, Vincent Rogolifoi, and Edmund Rogolifoi; three cherished grandchildren, Leilah Wabol, Landon Wabol, and Lindsey Wabol; along with many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a memorial visitation and service at the VFW Post 2290, The Potter's House Christian Fellowship Church (2nd floor sanctuary) 600 Washington Avenue, Manville, NJ 08835 on Saturday, October 12, at 11:00 a.m. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Fucillo & Warren Funeral Home, 205 South Main Street, Manville, NJ 08835.
