Charles M. Huber (Charlie) passed on April 25, 2020. He was born in Rahway, NJ on October 13, 1954. He was predeceased by his parents, May and Charles Huber and his aunt, Ethel Millward.

He leaves his loving sister, Christine Pawlowicz, brother-in-law Michael S. Pawlowicz and nephew, Michael C. Pawlowicz.

Charlie grew up in Lyndhurst, and attended the Little Red Schoolhouse and later the Lyndhurst Adult Workshop. Everyone that knew him loved him-he was friendly and always talked to everyone.

He lived in Nutley with his sister and family for several years, and still attended the Lyndhurst Workshop and was a member of REC (Recognition of Exceptional Citizens) for many years.

Then, Charlie went to live in Warren, NJ in Warren Group Home in the ARC of Somerset. He was employed by the ARC of Somerset, and attended Valley Park Work Center and Camplain Work Center in Hillsborough. He especially liked doing the meal delivery and street cleaning in Manville. Many things that he loved were gardening, landscaping, making beautiful hooked rugs, and fashioning wooden plaques and other woodworking projects. He loved bowling and excelled in power walking and bowling in the Special Olympics. Charlie attended dances in Lyndhurst and later in Warren. Charlie enjoyed family holidays and outings with the group home and was so full of life and laughter.

Private services will be held at Fucillo & Warren Funeral Home, 205 South Main Street Manville, NJ 08835. Interment will be at Clinton Cemetery in Irvington where Charlie's family is buried.
