Obituary

Charles "Chuckie" Matthew DuBois, age 44, entered eternal life peacefully on Monday, June 15, 2026, at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Charles was born in Elizabeth, New Jersey, and is the son to Robert and Helen (née Data) DuBois; he settled to Manville, New Jersey, in 1983.

Chuckie graduated from Immaculata High School in Somerville, New Jersey, with the Class of 2000. He subsequently obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree from Ramapo College in Mahwah, New Jersey, graduating in 2004. For more than 19 years, Chuckie served as an engineering technician at Picatinny Arsenal in Picatinny, New Jersey.

In his youth, Chuckie was an active participant in the 4-H Go-Cart Club of Somerset County, located in Bridgewater, New Jersey. His dedication and strong resolve consistently resulted in First Place victories in cart racing. He took pleasure in learning and collaborating with his father on car restoration projects, which he always found fulfilling. Chuckie frequently transported these restored cars to various race tracks for drag racing. At home, he found peace in maintaining his yard and had a passion for gardening. Additionally, he cherished the many collections he amassed throughout his life.

Chuckie was predeceased by his paternal grandparents, Marge and Charles DuBois; his maternal grandparents, Dorothee and Mieczyslaw Data; and his Uncle Ricky.

In addition to his loving parents, Robert and Helen, Charles is survived by his dear sister and best friend, Jenny DuBois and her husband Drew; his adored nephew, Myles; his treasured aunts and uncles, Aunt Marylou DuBois, Aunt Louise Oskutis, Aunt Ronnie and her husband, his Uncle Eddie Data, and Aunt Susan and her husband, his Uncle Raymond Matlosz; cherished cousins, Ryan and Randy Matlosz and Danielle Data;  as well as many wonderful friends who loved him dearly for the laughter Chuckie brought into their lives.
