Hillsborough, NJ – Charles John Regiec, 82, peacefully passed away on Friday, April 12, 2019 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital-Somerset in Somerville, NJ surrounded by loving family. Born and raised in Manville, NJ, son of the late John and Rose (nee Malinowski) Regiec, he called the Neshanic section of Hillsborough home after marriage in 1960.

Charles faithfully served his country with the United States National Guard. For over thirty years, he was owner of R & S Cabinet Company of Neshanic. Charles enjoyed local racing, NASCAR racing, fishing, and hunting.

Besides his parents, Charles was predeceased by five siblings, Mary Poslusny, Margaret Jakalski, Betty Zydallas, Jean Grabowski, and Leon Regiec.

Charles is survived by his devoted wife of sixty-three years, Mary (nee Pankowski) Regiec. He will be deeply missed by two loving sons, William Regiec and his wife Irena of Hillsborough and David Regiec and his wife Patricia of Hillsborough; a dear sister, Doris Kraemer; and four cherished grandchildren, Adam Regiec, Anete Regiec, Eric Regiec, and Melissa Bautista.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a viewing at Fucillo & Warren Funeral Home, 205 South Main Street, Manville, NJ 08835 on Tuesday, April 16 from 6-9 p.m. and on Wednesday, April 17 from 9-10 a.m.  Funeral services will begin at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, April 17 at the funeral home followed by committal words and interment at Sacred Heart cemetery in Hillsborough.
