Manville, NJ- Charles Bugal, Sr., 91, entered into eternal life on Tuesday, January 16, 2018 at his home, the home he built.  Born and raised in Vintondale, PA, son of the late John and Catherine (Honchar) Bugal, he became a lifelong resident of Manville.

Charles was a laborer with GAF in South Bound Brook for thirty-seven years. He also worked with a fencing company on Johnson Drive in Raritan, Bridgewater Wholesalers, and then Dynamic Metals just prior to his retirement. Charles loved playing cards with family and friends; he enjoyed collecting things having been a scrap collector his whole life.  He couldn't resist taking home stray animals and caring for them.

Besides his parents, Charles was predeceased by a son, Charles "Chuck" Bugal, Jr. on July 27, 2004 and by all of his siblings, George, Andy, Mike, Harry, Mary, Nancy, Eva, Anna Mae, and John.

Charles is survived by his beloved wife of sixty-eight years, Mary Ann (Gray) Bugal with whom he joined hands in marriage on May 28, 1949; his loving children, daughter  Patricia Klementovicz of Manville and her children Ronald Jr. and Coryn, daughter Kathleen Pope of Manville and her fiancé Jeff Brocklehurst and Kathleen's children Jackie Lynn, Freddie, Thomas Justin, and Ryan, son Larry Robert Bugal and his wife, Phyllis of Bound Brook, and their son Larry Robert, Jr., son Theodore Bugal of Manville, son Timothy Bugal and his wife Susan of Raritan and their children Jarrett and Peyton and by Charles Jr.'s daughter Monique.  He will be deeply missed by many adored great grandchildren.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a viewing at Fucillo & Warren Funeral Home, 205 South Main Street, Manville, NJ 08835 on Friday, January 19 from 6-9 p.m. and on Saturday, January 20 from 10:00-10:30 a.m.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 20 beginning 10:30 a.m. at the funeral home.  Committal words and interment will follow at Sacred Heart Cemetery in Hillsborough.  Memorial contributions may be made in Charles' name to Alzheimer's Association Greater NJ Chapter, 400 Morris Avenue, Suite 251, Denville, NJ 07834.
