Manville, NJ- Christine R. (Santostefano) Madej, 65, entered into eternal life on Sunday March 13, 2011 at the Raritan Health and Extended Care Center in Raritan. Born in Somerville to her late father Carmelo Santostefano and mother Margaret (Kincel) Santostefano, she was a lifelong resident of Manville.
Christine was a homemaker and enjoyed spending time with her family especially her grandchildren. She was a faithful communicant of Christ the King Roman Catholic Church in Manville, a member of the Manville Senior Citizens Club, a volunteer at the Bridgewater Library and enjoyed crafts.
Besides her father, Christine was predeceased by three siblings Felix "Butch" and Robert Santostefano, and Joane Gulick.
Christine leaves behind to cherish her memory, two loving daughters and their husbands Dawn and Doug Vornlocker and Jenniffer and David Runyon both of Manville. Her loving mother Margaret Santostefano of Manville, three dear brothers Michael, Anthony and John Santostefano , two dear sisters Patricia Hutchins and Judith Debias. She will be deeply missed by four cherished grandchildren Emme, Michael and Phoebe Vornlocker and Autumn Runyon and also many nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend visitation at Fucillo & Warren Funeral Home, 205 South Main Street, Manville, NJ 08835 on Wednesday, March 16 from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. and on Thursday, March 17 from 8-8:30 a.m.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, March 17 beginning 8:30 a.m. from the funeral home followed by a 9:00 a.m. funeral liturgy at Christ the King Roman Catholic Church in Manville. Christine will be laid to rest at Sacred Heart Cemetery in Hillsborough.
