Manville, NJ – Clara (Feliciano) Velez, 71, entered into eternal life early Saturday Morning, March 10, 2012 at Somerset Medical Center in Somerville. Born in Puerto Rico to her late parents John Feliciano Crespo and Leonor Muniz, she came to the United States as a young girl and had lived in Bound Brook and Raritan before moving to Manville in 2000.

She retired as a Laboratory Technician from Roche Diagnostics in Branchburg. Having a love for gardening, she enjoyed flowers and spending time with her family.

She is predeceased by her infant daughter Diana and by a step-brother Luis Colon.

Clara is survived by her loving family; husband Victor Velez, Sr. whom were married fifty-three years and their children; Wendy Chevere and her husband Ricardo of Manville, Annette Cyr of PA, Cindy Panncia and her husband Joseph of MD, Victor Velez, Jr. and his wife Jill of Flemington, Mary Kist of Manville and Richard Velez also of Manville. She will be missed by seven grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, her sister Judy Hills and her step-siblings; Frankie and Mildred Colon, John Feliciano and Gloria Iris Adorno.


Funeral services will be held in the Fucillo & Warren Funeral Home, 205 South Main Street, Manville, NJ 08835 on Wednesday, March 14, 2012 beginning 10:00am. Burial will follow in St. Bernard's Cemetery located in Bridgewater.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation in the funeral home on Tuesday, March 13, 2012 from 2-4pm and 7-9pm and on Wednesday from 9:30am until the service time.
