Obituary

Millstone Borough, NJ- Clementine "Clem" (Berlinski) Panettiere, 102, entered into eternal life on Thursday, June 2, 2011 at Bridgeway Care Center in Bridgewater. Born in Poland, daughter of the late Joseph and Bertha (Kowalczyk) Berlinski, she came to the United States as an infant and had resided in Finderne and Manville before settling to Millstone Borough where she lived for fifty years.

Clem was a homemaker and enjoyed baking Polish Babkas, breads and her chocolate cake was always a hit. She was also an avid gardener who enjoyed sharing the fruits of her labor with others. For many years, she was a communicant of St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church in Millstone, a member of the Hillsborough Senior Citizen's and Catholic Daughters in Manville.

Besides her parents, Clem was predeceased by her beloved husband Dominic A. Panettiere on November 3, 1966; son David J. Panettiere in 1999 and siblings, Genevieve Berlinski, Hedwig Wojciehowski, Mary Berlinski, Stella Posda and Thaddeus Berlinski.



Clem leaves behind her loving daughter and son-in-law, Diana and Fred Mathews of Bridgeville, DE; two adored grandsons, James Mathews and his wife Kelly and Paul Mathews and his wife Marie; two precious great grandchildren, Dominic and Monica Mathews. She will be deeply missed by her cherished nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews and great great nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend visitation at Fucillo & Warren Funeral Home, 205 South Main Street, Manville, NJ 08835 on Sunday, June 5 from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. and on Monday, June 6 from 8:15-8:45 a.m.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, June 6 beginning 8:45 a.m. from the funeral home followed by a 9:30 a.m. funeral liturgy at Mary, Mother of God Roman Catholic Church in Hillsborough. Clem will be laid to rest at Sacred Heart Cemetery in Hillsborough. Memorial contributions may be made in Clem's memory to a charity of your choice.
