Manville, NJ – Dania J. "Donna" (nee Gaber) Connolly, 73, entered eternal life on Thursday, November 22, 2018 at her daughter's home surrounded by close family.  Born in Pegnits, Germany, daughter of the late Michael and Stephanie (nee Rudiak) Gaber, she immigrated to the United States in 1947 and settled in Manville.

Dania retired after many years of dedicated employment with LA Food Services in Piscataway, NJ as an office manager.  She loved gardening, taking day trips to wineries, going into New York City, spending time with friends at Pizza 'N Pasta, playing with her feline friends "Jake" and "Ralphie", putting jigsaw puzzles together, coloring, attending flea markets and bizarres, but most of all the time spent with her grandchildren whom were the greatest joys in her life.

Besides her parents, Dania was predeceased by her beloved husband, Edward Charles Connolly in 2009; and her beloved son, Michael Charles Connolly in 2014.

Dania is survived by her loving daughter, Corinna and her husband Bruce Ahart of Hillsborough, NJ; dear sisters, Stephanie Gaber of Manville and Dorothy and her husband Jack Pannone of Manville; two adored grandchildren, Mikayla Ahart and Carlee Ahart both of Hillsborough; cherished nephew Godson, Justin R. Gaber; and cherished niece, Christy Lee LoMedico and her husband Enzo and their children, Christopher and Marissa.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a viewing at Fucillo & Warren Funeral Home, 205 South Main Street, Manville, NJ 08835 on Tuesday, November 27 from 3-7 p.m.  Pastor Chelsea Miller of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Somerville will officiate the funeral service at the funeral home at 6:00 p.m.  The disposition will be private.  Memorial contributions may be made in Dania's name to the Somerset Regional Animal Shelter, 100 Commons Way, Bridgewater, NJ 08807.
