Somerset, NJ – Daniel J. "Dan" Orlik, 59, entered into eternal life on Tuesday, June 21, 2016 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital-Somerset in Somerville, NJ with loving family by his side. Born in Coaldale, PA, son of the late John and Anastasia Orlik, he was raised in Manville, NJ before settling in Somerset.
Dan loved life; having "fun in the sun" at Point Pleasant Beach, fast cars, drag racing, and he could often be found watching NASCAR. He enjoyed spending time in Atlantic City casinos and Parx Casino. Time spent with his family and his sons were of utmost importance to him. Dan was employed with Kaiser (Meadow Services) in Millstone, NJ as a truck driver. He was a communicant of Christ the Redeemer Parish (Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church) in Manville.
Dan was predeceased by his beloved wife, Janet (Kralovich) Orlik on October 21, 2012 and his dear sister, Barbara Hurrilla.
Dan is survived by his loving sons, Joseph and Kevin Orlik; two dear brothers, Steve Orlik, Sr. and Paul Orlik and many cherished nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend viewing at Fucillo & Warren Funeral Home, 205 South Main Street, Manville, NJ 08835 on Thursday, June 30 from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. and on Friday, July 1 from 9-10 a.m.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, July 1 beginning 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home with clergy from Christ the Redeemer Parish officiating. Committal words and interment will follow at Sacred Heart Cemetery in Hillsborough, NJ.
