Manville, NJ- Darlene (Peters) Fender, 76, entered into eternal life on Saturday, April 1, 2023 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital-Somerset in Somerville, NJ, also where she was born to the late Peter and Emma (Tobias) Peters.  She was a lifelong Manville resident.

Darlene enjoyed being around her friends and family and spending time with her beloved cats as well as all animals.

Besides her parents and brother, Peter Peters, Darlene was predeceased by the love of her life, George Fender on January 9, 2023 whom she had spent fifty-six years wonderful of marriage with.

Darlene is survived by her loving and devoted daughter and son-in-law, Lorraine and David Chiarizzio of Hillsborough, NJ and sister-in-law, Margie Peters, along with nieces, nephews and cousins whom will miss her dearly.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a viewing at Fucillo & Warren Funeral Home, 205 South Main Street, Manville, NJ 08835 on Thursday, April 6, 2023 from 4-7 pm.  At the request of the family, disposition will be private.

Darlene loved all animals; in lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in her name to any animal rescue organization, sanctuary or shelter.
