Manville, NJ- David Fredrick Bryan, 80, passed away peacefully on Friday, January 19, 2024 at home with loving family at his side.  Born in Philipsburg, PA, son of the late Andrew and Mary Mae (nee Hockenberry) Bryan, he grew up in Osceola Mills, PA and then at the age of twenty and he settled to Manville.

David was a packer at Thermo Fisher Scientific in Bridgewater, NJ for many years until retirement.  He enjoyed watching NFL Football as a Pittsburgh Steelers fan and he also enjoyed watching NASCAR.  Although, spending time with family was his favorite pastime.

David also loved to bake, especially cakes and cookies.  He was an avid woodworker and made many items for family and friends.  He was also known as a "MacGyver" fixing things and always tinkering.

Besides his parents, David was predeceased by his son, David F. Bryan, Jr. who died in 2011; and a sister, Faye Bryan.

David leaves behind his beloved wife of fifty-nine years, Shirley Ann (nee Manella) Bryan with whom he joined hands in marriage on July 25, 1964; two loving daughters, Jeanne M. and her husband Russel Kling of Glen Gardner, NJ and Linda A. Bryan and her significant other, Joseph of Manville; dear daughter-in-law, Cynthia Bryan; four dear siblings, Pat, Curt, Sherry, and Karen; a cherished grandson, Christopher; cherished great granddaughter, Stacy; and adored great-great granddaughter, Kaylani.
