David Dymitri
Hydro, Jr.
Dec 8, 1981 — Dec 15, 2022
Bloomsbury
Bloomsbury, NJ--David "Little David" Dymitri Hydro, Jr. was the father of three, and friend of many - passed away on December 15, 2022 at the age of 41 in Hunterdon County, New Jersey.
David was born on December 8, 1981 to David Hydro and Barbara Mclure in Somerville, New Jersey. David grew up in Manville, New Jersey. In his younger years he played little league baseball and enjoyed being on St. Mary's traveling basketball team. David was a friend to all while attending Manville High School. As a teen he learned to hunt with his father David Hydro. Later, David joined the United States Naval Sea Cadets Corps where he trained on a military base.
David then started his career and his passion for HVAC flourished. He was born a natural engineer, as a toddler his mother Barbara would watch as he would take apart his matchbox cars and put them back together. At this time he quickly bonded with his brother Bobby who learned everything from him; he soon became his best friend. His brother Bobby was mentored in HVAC by David and would follow in his footsteps. David had worked as an apprentice in HVAC for a short period, but mostly he was self-taught. He also worked in his family members' homes anytime anyone needed his help; he was always there with all of his tools in hand. In his free time he enjoyed cooking for his family and knew everything about football. He would spend time fishing with his children and friends. David was also passionate about caring for his exotic fish and cats.
David is survived by his three loving children, Alana Elizabeth Hydro, David Dymitri Hydro, III, and Estelle Sophia Hydro. He will be deeply missed as well by his caring parents, mother, Barbara Mclure, father, David Hydro; caring stepmother, Karen Hydro; and caring stepfather, Robert McClure, Sr. David also leaves behind his dear brothers, Bobby, Craig, and Derek; as well as his favorite sister, Miranda. He is also survived by his cherished ninety-two year old great grandma, another best friend in life, Elizabeth "Betty" Hydro; and his beloved partner, Kristy Campbell and her adored children, Kyle and Alyssa.
