Manville, NJ- Dolores "Dee" (Merva) LaMonica, 59, entered into eternal life on Thursday, April 21, 2016 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital Somerset in Somerville, NJ. Born in Somerville, daughter of the late Joseph and Wilhelmina M. (Sigmund) Merva, she resided in Somerville until settling in Manville in 1977.

Dee was a graduate of Somerville High School Class of 1974. As a homemaker, Dee enjoyed taking care of family; she especially loved spending time with her grandchildren.

Dee is survived by her loving and devoted husband, Joseph M. LaMonica, Sr.; loving sons, Joseph M. LaMonica, Jr. of Manville and Anthony J. LaMonica and his wife Kelly of Hillsborough, NJ; dear brother, Bill Merva of Florida; dear sister, Rita Sullivan of Florida; dear sister-in-law, Mary Blue, dear brothers-in-law, Charles LaMonica and Philip LaMonica. She will be deeply missed by six cherished grandchildren, Joseph M. LaMonica, III, Anthony James LaMonica, Jr., Kyle LaMonica, Sammi LaMonica, Ava LaMonica, and Aiden LaMonica; and her special canine companion "Lucy".

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a viewing at Fucillo & Warren Funeral Home, 205 South Main Street, Manville, NJ 08835 on Sunday, April 24 from 4-8 p.m. A eulogy will take place at 6:00 p.m. At the family's request, the disposition will be private.
