Manville, NJ – Dora T. (Fina) Spencer, 84, entered eternal life on Thursday, April 11, 2013 at home surrounded by her family. Born in Luzerne, PA, to her late parents, Charles and Loretta (Frushon) Fina, she was raised in Pittston, PA settling to Manville sixty years ago.

Dora was a homemaker and worked at local delis and in the Johns-Manville cafeteria. She was a communicant of Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church in Manville. In her spare time, she enjoyed watching professional wrestling, crossword puzzles and crocheting. Her grandchildren were her pride and joy especially Elena Steffel and Jamie & Chris Hosgood whom were her devoted caregivers.


Besides her parents, Dora was predeceased by her husband Robert Spencer in 2002, son Bobby, six siblings and her grandson Robert.

Dora leaves behind three children, Helen Steffel, Carol Straszewski and Raymond Spencer; three siblings, Jeanie and husband Phil Pisano of NV, Pat and wife Arlene Fino of PA and Charles Fina, Jr. of Forked River. She will be deeply missed by seven grandchildren, six great grandchildren, her grand animals and by many friends.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend visitation at Fucillo & Warren Funeral Home, 205 South Main Street, Manville, NJ 08835 on Sunday, April 14, 2013 from 2-6 p.m. and on Monday, April 15, 2013 from 8:30-9:00 a.m.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, April 15, 2013 beginning 9:00 a.m. at the funeral home followed by a 9:30 a.m. funeral liturgy at Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church in Manville. Burial in Sacred Heart Cemetery in Hillsborough will follow.
