Hillsborough, NJ- Doris H. (nee Healy) Murphy, 98, entered into eternal life on Wednesday, July 10, 2024 at Foothill Acres Rehabilitation & Nursing Center in Hillsborough. Born in Orange, NJ, daughter of the late Henry and Beulah (nee Sullivan) Healy she had resided in Cedar Grove, NJ and Mt. Arlington, NJ, before settling in Bridgewater, NJ.

Doris was a past parishioner of St. Catherine of Sienna Roman Catholic Church in Cedar Grove for many years. She worked for Good Humor in Fairfield, NJ as a secretary, prior to retirement. Doris enjoyed bowling and belonged to many leagues of which some of them she traveled with across the country. She also loved to do country-western line dancing and taught it to others.

Besides her parents, Doris was predeceased by her daughter, Kathleen Murphy.

Doris will be deeply missed by her loving daughters, Patricia and her spouse Tony Mendicino of Manville, NJ and Lynne and her spouse John Stephens of Stockholm, NJ; two dear sisters, Joyce Bambrick and Verna Tilley; and several cousins.
