Manville, NJ – Dorothy R. (Schuster) Drozd, 89, entered into eternal life on Tuesday, April 2, 2013 at the Foothill Acres Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Hillsborough, NJ. Born in Scranton, PA, daughter of the late Joseph and Mary (Chromey) Schuster, she moved to Manville in 1951.

While living in Scranton, she attended St. Peter & Paul and was a choir member and a member of the Polish Falcon Drum & Bugle Choir. Dorothy took great pride caring for her family as a homemaker. When she moved to Manville, Dorothy became a member of St. Mary's Byzantine Catholic Church and was a Rosarian. She enjoyed the time she spent singing in the church choir, working Bingo, teaching CCD and for the last fifteen years, she could often be found assisting with the church catering.

Dorothy was a member of the Manville Senior Citizens, the Manville Senior Group and since 1982; she was a member of the Moose. In her earlier years, she was employed at Johnson & Johnson and Johns Manville.

Besides her parents, Dorothy was predeceased by her husband John who passed away in 1988 and by her siblings; Marion Gerrity and Eleanor Sable of Scranton, PA, Gertrude Zimak of Old Forge, PA, Joseph Schuster of Dupont, PA and William Schuster of Taylor, PA.

Dorothy leaves behind her loving children; Denise Horton and her husband Ed of Toms River, Marylee DeCosimo and her husband Bill of Point Pleasant, John Drozd of Bridgewater and Richard Drozd and his wife Lisa of Hillsborough.

She is also survived by her siblings Richard Schuster of Florida, Henry Schuster of Tuckhannok, PA, brother-in-law Michael Drozd of Scranton, PA and six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend visitation at Fucillo & Warren Funeral Home, 205 South Main Street, Manville, NJ 08835 on Sunday, April 7 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and on Monday, April 8 from 8:45 a.m. until 9:15 a.m.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, April 8 beginning 9:15 a.m. at the funeral home followed by a 10:00 a.m. funeral liturgy at St. Mary's Byzantine Catholic Church in Hillsborough with Father Ed Cimbala officiating.

Dorothy will be laid to rest beside her beloved husband at Sacred Heart Cemetery in Hillsborough. Memorial contributions may be made in Dorothy's name to St. Mary's Byzantine Catholic Church, 900 Brooks Blvd, Hillsborough, NJ 08844.
