Branchburg, NJ ---Dorothy J. (nee Wass) Hardgrove entered into eternal life on March 29, 2022 at Bridgeway Care Center in Bridgewater, NJ with loving family by her side. Born and raised in Manville, Dottie was predeceased by her father Joseph "Slim" Wass and her parents Stephen and Yolanda (nee Farkas) Wass.Dottie was a member of Christ the Redeemer Parish (Christ the King Roman Catholic Church). She was a member of the Manville PTA and worked for 20 years at The Arc of Somerset.Beside her parents, Dottie was predeceased by her beloved grandson, Stephen Hardgrove, Jr. in 2013.Dottie is survived by her loving children, John Hardgrove (Mary Jean), Stephen Hardgrove (Anne), Martin Hardgrove, Timothy Hardgrove (Michele) and Lauri Chalmers (Steven); sisters, Veronica Stanley (Bill) and Teri Gresh (Jeff), and ten grandchildren, fourteen Great grandchildren and five Great great grandchildren.Visitation will take place on Friday, April 1, 2022 from 4-7 p.m. and on Saturday, April 2, from 11a.m. to 12 p.m. at Fucillo and Warren Funeral Home, 205 South Main Street, Manville, NJ 08835. A funeral service will begin on Saturday at 12 p.m. at the funeral home, followed by interment at Sacred Heart Cemetery, Hillsborough, NJ.Flowers are accepted or donations may be made to The Arc of Somerset, 141 So.
