Brownington, VT- Dorothy Kubian, 85, entered into eternal life on Wednesday, August 24, 2022 at McClure Miller Respite House in Colchester, VT.  Born and raised in Hillsborough, NJ, daughter of the late Louis J. and Josephine (nee Przugoda) Kubian, she had resided in the town of Hillsborough her entire life, until moving to Brownington, VT in 2020 to be closer to family.

Dorothy was the secretary for the postmaster at the Hillsborough Post Office. For most of her life, she lived in the beautiful farm home built by her father, Louis. She was passionate about gardening and always made sure her flowers and yard looked beautiful.  Dorothy had a wonderful eye for home décor and design, always changing and adapting her homes' appearance to match the seasons.  She enjoyed spending time with friends, sharing and cooking food, reading novels, listening to classical music, and taking care of her beloved feline friends.  Dorothy enjoyed attending concerts performed by the New Jersey Symphony, in which her nephew and niece are violinists.  She was a parishioner of St. Joseph's Church in Hillsborough.

Besides her parents, Dorothy was predeceased by her two brothers, Louis J. Kubian and Robert Louis Kubian.

Dorothy is survived by her nephew Darryl Kubian and his wife JoAnna Farrer, both of Brownington, VT.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a viewing on Friday, September 2 from 8:30-9:30 a.m. at Fucillo & Warren Funeral Home, 205 South Main Street, Manville, NJ 08835.  Funeral services will begin at 9:30 a.m. at the funeral home followed by a 10:00 a.m. funeral mass at St. Joseph's Church in Hillsborough.  Committal words and interment will follow at Sacred Heart Cemetery in Hillsborough.  To send condolences to the family or light a virtual candle, please visit www.FucilloandWarrenFuneralHome.com .
