Obituary

We have lost our beloved sister Dot on October 31, 2012! This is a tremendous personal loss for all that knew and loved her. She will be remembered in many ways, especially for her love of family, friends and life itself.

Dot was always close to her family and friends; enjoying their company, doing things with them, and helping them in any way possible. She especially enjoyed spending time with the children, always bringing each one something special. Dot was at every family gathering possible, and enjoyed them immensely. She would sit and talk with everyone, which was wonderful for us, she was such an interesting and loving person. Once she accepted a person as a friend, it was a lifelong friendship and most of her friends were considered to be a part of our family. Dot was the first to offer help to family or friends in any way she could. She was our comforter and protector.

Dot enjoyed doing new things, visiting new places and all of the different opportunities that life offered her. She loved to travel and visited many places, both locally and abroad. Whether it was a play in NYC, a stint in Vietnam or travelling in Europe, Dot was ready to go. She was given many wonderful and challenging opportunities in her life to include; Nursing School, a BS in Nursing, entering the US Army and going to Vietnam and working at the Manhattan VA Hospital in NYC.

We will especially remember her warm smile, her gentle ways and her love for all of us.
May she rest in peace and grace.

At the request of the family, all services for Dot were held privately through Fucillo and Warren Funeral Home in Manville.
