Manville, NJ- Edward J. Lair, Jr., 56, entered into eternal life on Tuesday, November 2, 2021 in Lebanon Borough, NJ.  Born in Somerville, NJ son of the late Edward J. and Cecilia (nee Puza) Lair, Sr., Eddie was a Manville resident his entire life.

Eddie graduated from Manville High School in 1983 where he played football after attending Sacred Heart Elementary School.  Everyone knew Eddie as an easy going, friendly, and kind person who also had a soft spot for animals.  He was a loving and devoted brother with a heart of gold.  He taught his sister everything there was to know about sports.  He was of strong catholic faith and a true modern day saint.  He loved all sports and was an avid fan of the Las Vegas Raiders, New York Yankees, and the Chicago Bulls.  Eddie also loved to travel and play the lottery.  He was employed by Somerville Lumber for many years and recently by BWI Distribution in Branchburg, NJ.

Eddie is survived by his dear sister, Susan Lair of Manville.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a viewing on Wednesday, November 10 from 9:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. at Fucillo & Warren Funeral Home, 205 South Main Street, Manville, NJ 08835.  The funeral service will begin at 12:00 p.m. at the funeral home with clergy from Christ the Redeemer Parish (Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church) officiating.  Committal words and interment will follow at Sacred Heart Cemetery in Hillsborough, NJ.
