Edward John Michalowski, Jr., 71 years old, entered eternal life on Thursday, May 14, 2026, at Foothill Acres Rehabilitation & Nursing Center in Hillsborough, New Jersey. Born in Somerville, New Jersey on January 3rd 1955, he was the son of the late Edward John Michalowski, Sr. and Mary (née Garay) Michalowski. Edward was a lifelong resident of Hillsborough.

Edward was a student at Hillsborough High School and belonged to the schools second graduating class, the Class of 1973. He served as a production operator at TekniPlex in Somerville, where he dedicated over 20 years of his career before retiring. In his youth, he was an altar boy and a parishioner at Mary, Mother of God Roman Catholic Church in Hillsborough, and played Baseball in the Hillsborough Little League & Senior League. Edward had a passion for baseball and was an avid fan of the New York Yankees. He went Sky Diving and loved listening to music, some other interests were Astronomy, Trains and he had a number of Cats as pets over the years, and the simple things like just working in the yard gave him pleasure.  He was a devoted and caring Uncle who helped raise his nephews and was actively involved in their lives. He leaves them with life long happy memories of wiffle ball, lazy Sundays, and long laughs that were cherished by his nephews. He was loved and will be dearly missed by them. Edward was a genuine and loving brother!

Edward is survived by his dear brother, Jeffrey Michalowski of Hillsborough; and three cherished nephews, Alexander, Derek, and Phillip.     And Derek's children, Lily, Miles, Charlotte, Olive & Eden. And Phillip's child, Mila.

Family and friends are invited to join together for a viewing at Fucillo & Warren Funeral Home, located at 205 South Main Street, Manville, NJ 08835 on Friday, May 22, 2026, from 8:15-9:15 a.m. Funeral services will begin at the funeral home with transfer prayers at 9:15 a.m. followed by the funeral mass at Mary, Mother of God Roman Catholic Church in Hillsborough at 10:00 a.m. Committal words and interment will follow at Sacred Heart Cemetery in Hillsborough.
