Manville, NJ- Edwina E. (nee Johnson) Andreyko, 93, entered into eternal life on Friday, February 16, 2024 at St. Joseph's Senior Home & Nursing Center in Woodbridge with Jesus by her side.  Born and raised in Bound Brook, NJ, daughter of the late Edward and Agnes (nee Korosec) Johnson, she settled to Manville in 1954.

Edwina was a graduate of Bound Brook High School.  She worked for Diehl's in Finderne, NJ.  Edwina later became owner and operator, along with her husband, of the family business, Boulevard Restaurant in Manville.  She retired after many years of dedicated employment with Somerset County in Somerville, NJ as a clerk at the Small Claims Court.  Edwina was a devout Catholic, having a strong faith and spirituality.  She was a parishioner at Christ the King Roman Catholic Church in Manville where she was also a member and very active with their Altar Rosary Society.  She loved going to the Blue Army Shrine in Washington, NJ, when given the opportunity.  Time spent with family meant the world to Edwina.  She was a member of the Republican Club in Manville.  She enjoyed being with her friends at the Senior Walking and Acqua Aerobics programs in Manville.  Crocheting was a favorite pastime of hers.  She also enjoyed doing her Circle-A-Word and Suduku puzzles, as well.  Edwina was a joy to be around as she always enjoyed the presence of laughter and a fun time.

Besides her parents, Edwina was predeceased by her beloved husband, Frank Andreyko on March 21, 1988; and two sisters, Lillian Anderson and Agnes Chester.

Edwina is survived and will be deeply missed by three loving children, Franklin Andreyko, Jr. and his spouse Judith of Whitehouse Station, NJ, Michael Andreyko and his spouse, Janet of Manville, and Catherine and her spouse Richard Cassano of Williston, VT; ten cherished grandchildren, Franklin, Alison, Christine, Michael, Eric, Nicole, Ashley, Brianna, Kaitlyn, and Adriana; six adored great grandchildren, Elizabeth, Makayla, Steven, Abbot, Mackenzie, and Nora; and many dear nieces, nephews, and cousins.

We would like to thank the staff of St. Joseph's Senior Home & Nursing Center for all the great care that was given to our Mother, Edwina during the last stage of her life.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend Edwina's viewing on Sunday, February 25, from 2-5 p.m. and on Monday, February 26, from 8-8:30 a.m. at Fucillo & Warren Funeral Home, 205 South Main Street, Manville, NJ 08835.  Funeral services will begin on Monday, February 26, at 8:30 a.m. at the funeral home followed by a 9:00 a.m. funeral mass at Christ the Redeemer Parish in Manville.  Committal words and interment will follow at Sacred Heart Cemetery in Hillsborough, NJ.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Edwina's name to St. Joseph's Senior Home & Nursing Center, 1-3 St. Joseph Terrace, Woodbridge, NJ 07095-2642 and please write in memo:  In Memory of Edwina Andreyko.  To send condolences to the family, share photographs, or light a virtual candle in memory of Edwina, please visit www.FucilloandWarrenFuneralHome.com.
