Manville, NJ- Elizabeth (nee Buchanec) Regetz, 99, entered into eternal life on Sunday, March 12, 2023 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital-Somerset in Somerville, NJ surrounded by loving family.  Born in Manville, daughter of the late Andrew and Mary Helen (nee Mozgo) Buchanec, she spent most of her life in Manville.  She was a resident at Laurel Circle, a retirement community in Bridgewater, NJ, for the past nine years.

Elizabeth was a homemaker who took great pride in caring for and raising her family.  She was a member of the Manville Senior Citizens Club and enjoyed taking trips to Atlantic City with fellow members.  She was a parishioner of Christ the Redeemer Parish in Manville.  Elizabeth enjoyed looking after her grandchildren and spending time with family.  In her free time, she enjoyed crossword puzzles.

Besides her parents, Elizabeth was predeceased by her beloved husband, Stephen C. Regetz, Sr. who died on October 2, 1981; five sisters, and three brothers.

Elizabeth will be dearly missed by her family and is survived by three loving children, Stephen C. Regetz, Jr. of Manville, James Regetz and his wife Victoria of Hillsborough, NJ, and Patricia Regetz of Manville; three cherished grandchildren, James Regetz, Thomas Regetz, and Robert Turner; five adored great grandchildren, Jackson Regetz, Cole Regetz, Ella Regetz, Connor Regetz, and Chase Regetz; and many dear nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a viewing on Thursday, March 16 from 7:30-8:30 a.m. at Fucillo & Warren Funeral Home, 205 South Main Street, Manville, NJ 08835.  Funeral services will be held on Thursday, March 16 beginning 8:30 a.m. at the funeral home followed by a 9:00 a.m. funeral mass at Christ the Redeemer Parish in Manville.  Committal words and interment will follow at Sacred Heart Cemetery in Hillsborough.  To send condolences to the family, share photographs, or light a virtual candle, please visit www.FucilloandWarrenFuneralHome.com .
