Eugeniusz Kolodziej, 52, entered eternal life on Monday, October 10, 2011 at home. Born and raised in Jarocin, Poland, son of the late Jozef and Maria (Kata) Kolodziej, he came to the United States in 1994 and settled in Manville.

Eugeniusz was currently employed as a custodian at the Hillsborough Middle School. Prior employment was construction work with JD Applicators in Hillsborough. He was a faithful communicant of Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church in Manville, enjoyed gardening and sharing the fruits of his labor with others, an avid cook and an outdoorsman. Family was of the utmost importance to him and he cherished the memories with family and friends.



He leaves behind his beloved wife of 29 years, Wieslawa (Pajak) Kolodziej with whom he joined hands in marriage on August 29, 1982; three adored children, sons Kamil Kolodziej and Artur Kolodziej both of Manville and daughter and son-in-law, Agnes Kulak and Mariusz of Basking Ridge; dear sister and brother-in-law Janina and Roman Siek of Manville and loving mother-in-law Jozefa Pajak of Poland. He will be deeply missed by his two cherished nephews, Chris Siek and Slawomir Siek and by his extended family and many friends.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend visitation at Fucillo & Warren Funeral Home, 205 South Main Street, Manville, NJ 08835 today, Wednesday, October 12 from 6-9 p.m. and on Thursday, October 13 from 8-8:30 a.m.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, October 13 beginning 8:30 a.m. at the funeral home followed by a 9:00 a.m. funeral liturgy at Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church in Manville. Eugeniusz will be laid to rest at Sacred Heart Cemetery in Hillsborough.
