Manville, NJ—Evelyn Anna Evanylo a life-long resident of Manville, died peacefully at home on Sunday, August 30, at the age of 89.

Evelyn was born on February 27, 1931 to Mary (Singel) and John Shutack, Sr.

She was a graduate of Bound Brook High School, class of 1948.  Evelyn met her husband Harry Evanylo, in the St. Mary's Byzantine Catholic Church choir, where they wed on October 13, 1951.  They had 2 sons and 1 daughter.  After her children grew up, she worked at Pharmacia in Piscataway for 15 years.

She enjoyed cooking, traveling, singing, walking, running, camping trips to the shore, loved John Philip Sousa music, and attending her children's and grandchildren's school and sporting events.

She was predeceased by her parents, her husband, siblings, Mary Magdalene Shutack, Helen Plaskon, Marie Urbanowicz, and John Shutack, and grandson Dylan Evanylo.

She is survived by sister Margaret Marlowe of Norfolk, VA; children, Gregory (Lisa) Evanylo of Blacksburg, VA, Patricia (Jay) Bartling of Hillsborough, NJ, and Jeffrey (Michelle) Evanylo of Manville, NJ; grandchildren, Justin Evanylo, Drew Evanylo, and Amy Evanylo; and many cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a viewing at Fucillo & Warren Funeral Home, 205 South Main Street, Manville, NJ 08835 on Tuesday, September 8 from 9:00-11:00 a.m.

Funeral services begin at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home.  At the families request, disposition will be private.
