Somerset, NJ- Faye A. Kovacs, 69, entered eternal life on Sunday, February 2, 2020 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital-New Brunswick. Born in Portage, PA, daughter of Martin and Rita (nee McCloskey) Hodgson, Faye moved to Manville in 1963.

Faye was a 1968 graduate of Manville High School and a parishioner of St. Joseph's Church in Hillsborough. She loved bowling when she was younger with the love of her life, Michael. Faye loved children which led her to working for the Franklin Township School System before retiring in 2016. She also enjoyed crocheting hats, blankets and gloves and giving them away to make people happy, however her biggest passion was sharing and enjoying the lives of her children and grandchildren.

Besides her parents, Faye was predeceased by her siblings, Martin, James, Patricia and Kimberly.

She is survived by her loving husband, Michael; children, Michelle and her husband Kenneth Ryan of Middlesex, Judith Kovacs and her partner, Christopher Thomas of Manville and Michael Kovacs of Somerset. She will be deeply missed by her dear grandchildren, Courtney, Christian, Patricia, Kenneth III, Serenity and Noah.

Faye is also survived by her sisters, Linda Luszik, Sandra Thompson and brother, Richard Hodgson along with many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend visitation at Fucillo & Warren Funeral Home, 205 South Main Street, Manville, NJ 08835 on Sunday, February 9 from 1-5 p.m. and on Monday, February 10 from 8:30 -9:15 a.m.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, February 10, beginning 9:15 a.m. at the funeral home followed by a 10:00 a.m. funeral liturgy at Saint Joseph's Roman Catholic Church, 34 Yorktown Road, Hillsborough, NJ. Committal words and interment will follow at St. Bernard Cemetery in Bridgewater.
