Manville, NJ – Florence C. (nee Rehrig) Magulak, age 96, entered into eternal life on Friday, October 20, 2023 at her daughter's home with loving family by her side.  Born in Lehighton, PA, daughter of the late Raymond and Florence (nee Smith) Rehrig, Florence spent most of her life as a resident of Manville.

Florence was a graduate of Bound Brook High School where she was Salutatorian of her senior class. After raising her two children, she accomplished her lifelong dream of graduating college in her mid-40's. She graduated from Trenton State Teachers College which today is known as The College of New Jersey. She taught for seventeen years and retired from St. Mary of Czestochowa Catholic School in Bound Brook, NJ. Florence was very active with the Manville Seniors, having worked her way up through the officer positions to include President.  She organized countless trips for the Manville Seniors. She was a great cook and baker, winning many bake-off competitions.  Her family, especially her cherished grand and great grandchildren, filled her life with joy.

Besides her parents, Florence was predeceased by her beloved husband, George J. Magulak, Sr. on May 23, 2010; and siblings, Raymond, Lyda, Alice, Eva, Carol and Cheryl.

Florence is survived by two loving children, Dr. George J. Magulak, Jr. and his wife Julie of Bloomfield Hills, MI and Mary and her husband Michael Rojas of Bridgewater; two dear sisters, Barbara and Mae; six cherished grandchildren, Kristyn, Meredith, Rebecca, Joseph, Michael, and Charles; and four adored great grandchildren, Sebastian, Theodore, Nathaniel and Vance.

There simply was nothing more important than being the consummate "Grandma" and being surrounded by her family. When asked, about two weeks before her death, if she was ready to enter the gates of heaven she stated, "not if I have another week to spend with my family".

Relative and friends are invited to attend a visitation on Tuesday, October 24, 2023, at Fucillo & Warren Funeral Home, 205 South Main Street, Manville, NJ 08835 from 6-8 p.m.  A 9:00 a.m. funeral mass will be held on Wednesday, October 25, 2023, at Christ the Redeemer Parish in Manville.
