Manville, NJ- Francis R. "Bill" Becker, 80, entered into eternal life on Tuesday, April 4, 2017 at RWJ Hospital in Somerville, NJ.  He was raised in Queens, NY,  moving to the Flemington area in 1955 and to Manville in 1962.

He is predeceased by his parents Edgar and Frances (Huttle) Becker and brother Ed Becker.

Bill worked as a carpenter/builder for various contractors throughout the area.  He was in the Army National Guard, a member of various hunting clubs, ran dogs in field trials, raised racing pigeons and had enjoyed many hobbies especially boating, building and flying RC model airplanes and camping in his RV.   He was a former Trustee as well and parishioner of St. Marys Byzantine Catholic Church in Hillsborough.

Bill will be deeply missed by his loving wife, Olga (Waslin) Becker of 55 years and two sons, Daniel and his wife Andrea (Piersante) Becker of Bridgewater, and Steven and his wife LoriLynne (Marriott) Becker of Barnegat, NJ.  "Pop-pop" also leaves behind seven cherished grandchildren, Ryan, Allison, Andrew, Eric, Kevin, Kara and Julia who will miss listening to his stories.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a viewing at Fucillo & Warren Funeral Home, 205 South Main Street, Manville, NJ 08835 on Friday, April 7 from 4-8  p.m. with Fr. James officiating the Parastas service at 7:00 p.m. and on Saturday, April 8 from 9:45-10:15 a.m. with the Panachida service beginning at 10:15 a.m.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, April 8 beginning 10:15 a.m. at the funeral home followed by an 11: 00 a.m. funeral liturgy at St. Marys Byzantine Catholic Church.  Interment will follow at Sacred Heart Cemetery in Hillsborough.
