Manville, NJ – Francis "Frank" Teska, 66, passed away Thursday, April 18, 2013 at Somerset Medical Center in Somerville. Born in Hamburg, Germany to his late parents Walter and Mary (Nadolski) Teska, the Teska family immigrated to the US in 1950 and Frank has been a resident of Manville since.


In his earlier years, Frank worked in the office of Johns-Manville and then retired in Inventory Control at Baker & Taylor. He belonged to Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church in Manville and was one of the original members of the Sacred Heart Crusaders Drum and Bugle Corp., first as a band member then as an adult; he was an assistant to the band director.


He enjoyed watching golf and as an avid lover of baseball, Frank was a huge NY Yankees fan.


Besides his parents, he is predeceased by his brother Stanley Teska and his sister Teresa Koshinski.


Frank leaves behind his loving sister Barbara Papiez and her husband Joseph of Waretown along with many nephews and nieces.


Visitation will be held at Fucillo & Warren Funeral Home, 205 South Main Street, Manville, NJ 08835 on Monday, April 22, 2013 from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. and on Tuesday, April 23, 2013 from 8:00 a.m. until 8:30 a.m.


Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, April 23, 2013 beginning 8:30 a.m. in the funeral home followed by a 9:00 a.m. funeral liturgy at Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church in Manville. Committal words will be held at Sacred Heart Cemetery in Hillsborough.
