Thorofare, NJ- Frank Deiter Haberland, 72, entered into eternal life on Tuesday, April 12, 2011 at Underwood-Memorial Hospital in Woodbury, NJ. Born in Berlin, Germany, son of the late John and Mae (Krasnansky) Haberland, he came to the United States in 1952 residing in Greenbrook, then moved to Manville in 1963, Deptford in 2005 and Tennessee for two years prior to settling to Thorofare, NJ.



Frank was a graduate of Dunellen High School Class of 1957 and attended Somerset County College. He faithfully served his country with the United States Army as an SP5 from 1958-1963. During his military years he had extensive IT training and was highly recommended in that field to IBM. Frank retired in 2004 from Ortho McNeil Pharmaceutical in Raritan where he was a manager. He is a former communicant of Christ the King Roman Catholic Church in Manville and was a member at Thomas J. Kavanaugh VFW Post #2290 in Manville. He enjoyed model trains and listening to German music.

Frank leaves behind his beloved wife of fifty years, Maria (Speich) Haberland; loving son and daughter Frank D. Haberland of Greenbrier, TN and Catherine Jennifer (Haberland) Seitzinger and her husband Charles of Hammonton, NJ. He will be deeply missed by his two cherished granddaughters Malina Noel Davis and Crystal Faye Davis both of Hammonton and many dear nieces, nephews and cousins.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend visitation at Fucillo & Warren Funeral Home, 205 South Main Street, Manville, NJ 08835 on Sunday, April 17 from 5-8 p.m. and on Monday, April 18 from 10-10:30 a.m.

The funeral service will take place at the funeral home on Monday, April 18 at 10:30 a.m. with clergy from Christ the King Roman Catholic Church in Manville officiating. Interment and committal words will follow at St. Bernard Cemetery in Bridgewater. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Frank's memory to the American Cancer Society, PO Box 22718, Oklahoma City, OK 73123-1718.
