Frank G. Liedl, Jr., 60, entered into eternal life on Tuesday, September 20, 2011 at Hunterdon Medical Center in Raritan Township. Born in Somerville, he was raised in Manville settling to Bridgewater thirty-seven years ago.

Frank had attended NCE now known as NJIT and was employed for over thirty years as a chemical engineer with Unilever in Englewood Cliffs. He had accomplished three Patents and traveled internationally doing his extensive work. He was a parishioner of Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church in Somerville. He was an avid fan of the Villanova Basketball Team and the St. Louis Cardinals. Years ago he played the guitar with a local band. Regardless of where his travels would take him, family was always of the utmost importance to Frank. He cherished every moment spent with those he so deeply loved especially his grandchildren's events and activities.

Frank was predeceased by his father, Frank G. Liedl, Sr. on May 19, 1987.


He leaves behind his beloved wife Barbara L. (Zimko) Liedl with whom he joined hands in marriage on May 25, 1974; his cherished daughter and son-in-law, Elizabeth L. and Andrew Kirchner of Burlington Township; his three adored grandchildren, Jack, Lyla and Ava; his dear mother Genevieve (Golden) Liedl and his loving sister Karen Kostenbader both of Bethlehem Township, PA.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend visitation at Fucillo & Warren Funeral Home, 205 South Main Street, Manville, NJ 08835 on Friday, September 23 from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. and on Saturday, September 24 from 8:00-8:30 a.m.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, September 24 beginning 8:30 a.m. from the funeral home, followed by a 9:30 a.m. funeral liturgy at Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church in Somerville. Frank will be laid to rest at Sacred Heart Cemetery in Hillsborough.
