Somerset, NJ – Genevieve A. (Szymczak) Kulikowski, 94, passed away on Sunday, December 7, 2014 at home. Born in Jersey City, to the late Ludwik and Karolina Szymczak, Genevieve lived in Bayonne for many years before moving to Bridgewater and subsequently to Somerset.

Genevieve was a devout parishioner of Christ the Redeemer Parish, Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church in Manville. She loved sewing, cooking, gardening and mostly spending time with her family.

Besides her parents, Genevieve was predeceased by her beloved husband Mieczyslaw Kulikowski, brother Edward and sister Franeczka.

Genevieve is survived by her devoted children, son Michael and his wife Kathie; daughter Barbara Betkowski and husband Kenneth; grandsons, Matthew Kulikowski and his wife Giovanna, Kenneth Betkowski, Jr. and his wife Gina, Paul Betkowski, and granddaughter, Michele Kulikowski. Genevieve also leaves behind 4 great grandchildren, Bella and Sophia Kulikowski and Briella and Benjamin Betkowski.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend visitation at Fucillo & Warren Funeral Home, 205 South Main Street, Manville, NJ 08835 on Wednesday, December 10 from 4-8 p.m. and on Thursday, December 11 from 8-8:30 a.m.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, December 11 beginning 8:30 a.m. from the funeral home followed by a 9:00 a.m. funeral liturgy at Christ the Redeemer Parish, Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church in Manville. At the family's request disposition will be private. In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105, a cause close to Genevieve's heart.
